About the Author:
The International Bible Society (IBS) commissioned the New International Version of the Bible (NIV). Its mission is to faithfully translate, publish and reach out with God's Word to people around the world. The Committee on Bible Translation (CBT) produced the NIV. It is an independent body of the most renowned English-speaking biblical linguists and scholars in the world.
A portion of the retail price of every NIV Bible bought will be provided to the International Bible Society to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.
