TNIV/NIV/NIrV
Hodder & Stoughton is the commercial publisher of the anglicised Today's New International Version (TNIV), anglicised New International Version (NIV) and the anglicised New International Reader's Version (NIrV published as the New Light Bible), and the exclusive rights holders to all English editions of these translations in Europe. The TNIV, NIV and NIrV are published under licence from the translation sponsors, International Bible Society, based in Colorado Springs, USA.
Use of the anglicised TNIV, NIV and NIrV as published by Hodder & Stoughton is granted to the public according to strict guidelines:
Guidelines
The TNIV, NIV or NIrV text may be quoted for use in any form (written, visual, electronic or audio), up to and inclusive of five hundred (500) verses without express written permission of the publisher, providing the verses quoted do not amount to a complete book of the Bible nor do the verses quoted account for 25 per cent or more of the total text of the work in which they are quoted.
The appropriate notice of copyright must appear on the title or copyright page of the work as follows:
