Matthew Hodder and T. W. Stoughton were the founders of Hodder & Stoughton in 1868.  Their aim was to publish books that would spread the message of the Gospel.  Among the first titles published in 1868 were Biblical Jesus Christ, His Times Life and Work;Christianity and Modern Progress and The Origin of the Four Gospels. 

We are privileged to continue this rich heritage through quality Christian publishing offering titles from best-selling authors such as Eugene Peterson, Richard Foster, Philip Yancey, Nicky Cruz, Matt Redman, Anne Graham Lotz, Corrie Ten Boom and many others.

Hodder & Stoughton also publishes the TNIV, NIV and NIrV Bible translations and hold the exclusive right to produce, publish and sell the NIV, TNIV and NIrV Bible in all Member States of the EU.
